Derek Hess is an American illustrator known for his bold and expressive drawing style. His work has defined four decades of indie, alternative, metal and hardcore music scenes through distinctive poster and album art that features a technique called "Forced Perspective".

These 8 X 10 sunflower prints were exclusively drawn by Derek based on Maria's Field of Hope and reflect the sunflower's strength, loyalty and bold spirit. Each illustration symbolizes warmth, confidence and unwavering optimism.

Derek's artwork is featured in the Louvre, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, allowing art lovers to experience an intimate part of contemporary culture. His original artwork provides a unique lens into themes of resilience and vulnerability with the striking beauty of the natural world.
